Morgan Goetz,

Chief Scientific Officer Ph.D.

Morgan Goetz is a driven scientist, passionate about vaccine equity, safety, and accessibility. As Chief Scientific Officer of EdJen, she is leading the scientific pursuit towards a vaccine with global access and impact. Prior to joining the EdJen team, she completed her doctorate in bioengineering at Harvard University, where she discovered and developed novel vaccine adjuvant materials for global health applications. Following the completion of her PhD, she completed her postdoctoral training at Boston Children's Hospital, leading a governmental contract to adjuvant and improve the seasonal influenza vaccine. In this role, she led contract contributions across multiple institutions and collaborators to meet contract goals.

She also has an extensive history of working on a team. During her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she was a 3-year starter for the varsity field hockey team, where she won three Atlantic Coast Conference championships and completed her tenure with an undefeated senior season, winning the NCAA National Championship.
