Lucia Gonzalez is a finance and venture capital professional with more than 15 years of experience in financial planning, controllership, auditing, human resources, compliance, and private equity/debt investments. 

Prior to EdJen BioTech, Ms. Gonzalez was CFO for a vaccine company where her experience was focused on finance, operations, and relationships with multiple vaccine suppliers in Asia and Europe. At the same time, she was involved in analyzing more than 60 different companies for potential investment. She previously served as CFO for a municipal solid waste management company where she raised capital with different banks.

Ms. Gonzalez started her career in General Electric where she worked in the energy, aviation, water technology and capital sectors for more than 9 years. During her time at GE Ms. Gonzalez lived abroad in several US cities, Brazil and Japan, managed cross-functional teams and was the Ombudsperson for any ethical and/or integrity concerns at the Monterrey Center for over 1,000 employees.

Ms. Gonzalez holds a bachelor 's degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Mexico.
